Bio
Arie Atlas is a licensed Realtor®. He has a BA (Anthropology) from University of California at Santa Cruz.
Arie’s background as a landscape and event designer, as well as a chef/caterer, translates well to his real estate career. “I have always worked closely with clients, he says. “While focused on my two main interests, design and food, I was afforded the opportunity to work closely with some terrifically talented people. Each project had its own nuances; not one was the same. I learned so much about meeting challenges with a positive attitude, asking the right questions, taking risks, and asserting leadership where needed.”
In Arie’s view, there are four key points that are essential in selling real estate:
1. Committing yourself to acquiring a specific skill set and using those skills in a personal—and personable—way.
2. Knowing the relevant computer technology and making it work for you and your clients.
3. Remembering the Code of Ethics and practicing it fully for each and every client.
4. Being the best person that you know how to be; expecting excellence and giving excellence.
On a personal note, Arie says, “Santa Fe has healed my urban ways. I am constantly amazed at the surrounding natural beauty. My dog, Barley, and I are real trail blazers both in-town and out. When we are not delivering meals to the needy or teaching cooking to kids, we are out enjoying nature trails and discovering remote area of New Mexico.
Now with five years of the ‘City Different’ under my belt, I can honestly say that virtually every day here has been better than the last. My coming here was very serendipitous, to say the least. I came here to get away—and, boy, did I ever! I never imagined that remote small town living would be for me. I was lured by all the trappings of the cities; yet we are one of the most sophisticated little towns that I know. As I have become a part of the fabric of this place, I have learned so much. Thank you, Santa Fe. I am blessed with you each and every day.”
